How do you convince someone that their house is on fire behind them if they refuse to turn around and look? You can see that they smell the fire and feel the heat on their back, but they just keep assuring you that everything is fine, the house isn’t burning, and you’re the issue for pointing it out.
I ask myself often, “How can these Liberal Party supporters not see what is happening?” The CBC is state-funded liberal propaganda, and if you read through its stories, it’s in plain sight, but they deny it. MAID is being offered to our veterans as a treatment for PTSD and for Canadians who suffer from depression. They are offering death to our heroes and Canadians who are suffering and calling it compassion! Everyone should be furious! Bill C-11 is an attempt to put the government in charge of what we see online, like in China and Russia. We should be marching on the capital and demanding they resign. But no. It isn’t enough—the loss of our democracy and of compassion for our mentally ill and veterans—for Canadians who wear red no matter the weather to take a critical look at what’s going on.
It’s heartbreaking to read people spout liberal talking points on Twitter that are completely detached from our reality here in Canada, and it’s because they think they are winning. They think they chose the right team because their team is in power. It’s the only thing that makes sense. They chose a political party like a hockey team, and no matter who gets traded or what they do, it’s their team, and they’ll wear the jersey and say the words because they are in the winning seat and the other teams are the enemy. Unfortunately, Canadians are starving, driving up the number of patrons at food banks to the highest level since 1980. Some hungry Canadians are asking for MAID services for hunger relief. 1 in 5 Canadians cannot find a family doctor. With the lockdowns and mandates causing many businesses to close, crime and drug use are also at an all-time high, and with all of this government-made hell all around us, what’s important to the government? The first steps are taking our rifles (Bill c-21) and controlling what we can see online (Bill c-11).
Canadians who are still supporting this government should not only feel embarrassed but also realize that they have more in common with the German citizens of the 1940s, the citizens of Lennon’s Russia, and the Chinese that allowed the CCP to take power than they do with the compassionate Liberals that existed just 10 years ago. To be a liberal today is to normalize racism against white people and sexism against men. to divide people based on their skin colour and not on who they are as people, to overlook the government’s infringement on our Charter of Human Rights, to blame women who do not want men in their locker rooms and to whitewash the good our Canadian ancestors have done and fought for by calling it all based on racism. You are supporting a government that called Canadians bigots for objecting to mandated injections of an untested drug that doesn’t stop infection or transmission. You are allowing our country to fall into chaos, and the people at the top that are pushing for these things do not care about you, and it will not be until you or someone you love is affected by these policies that you realize what you have let happen through your blind allegiance to this government and its half-baked ideology.
